Meet rising talents in the digital arts from the UK and Hong Kong at this roundtable event. From video games to AI-driven world-building, we’ll explore fresh ideas on emerging screen technologies and non-linear storytelling.
FACT (Liverpool), Near Now (Nottingham), Videotage (Hong Kong), and Platform Asia have teamed up for a cross-national hybrid residency with six emerging artists from the Midlands, North East England, and Hong Kong. The artists are Khush Kali, Seema Mattu, Janhavi Sharma, Elle Bulger, Kaman Lam, and Louis Wong.
Come and listen to the artists as they present their research and creative processes, share insights, and discuss innovative ideas on screen culture and creative technology. Engage directly with the artists and the curators from FACT, Near Now, and Platform Asia in a lively networking session to discover the future of digital art and storytelling.
This event is supported by Arts Council England, the Hong Kong Arts Development Council and the People’s Postcode Trust.
