About the artist
Andy aims to transport you to imaginative worlds full of magic and mystery through a style blending influences from animation, such as Studio Ghibli and Adventure Time, with the fantastical landscapes reminiscent of Moebius. Bright and saturated colors are skillfully used to craft eye-catching scenes and characters, creating an effect that is both familiar and refreshing.
Over the past decade, the artist has honed his skills as an illustrator, specialising in various mediums including comic covers, trading cards, and concept art. Collaborations with numerous high-profile brands and studios have allowed him to showcase a unique ability to capture wonder, spin engaging narratives, and offer a momentary escape through his art.
A particular affinity for fantasy stems from the endless creative possibilities it provides. Andy delights in dreaming up characters, creatures, and realms that seem to exist just beyond our perception. While his work may not mirror reality, the underlying intention is to explore universal themes and emotions through the journeys of his characters. Behind every magical being is a little piece of himself or someone he knows.
As Andy prepares for this exhibition, he eagerly anticipates sharing his imagination with new audiences. His hope is for people to find a moment of joy and inspiration within the artworks. Andy invites you to join him on an adventure where anything is possible if you simply open your mind to the magic around us.
