Nelly Ben-Hayoun is a creative director and experience designer from France, living and working in London. She designs experiences for you to become an astronaut in the living room, generating dark energy from pigeon's eggs in the kitchen and colliding atoms in the bathroom, while a replica of mount St Helen's is erupting on the sofa.
Nelly will be talking about designing fictions, her ongoing love of science and experiences from recent project in collaboration with the NASA Ames Research Centre. We are excited to present a special preview screening of her new film The International Space Orchestra.

The International Space Orchestra tells the story of the incredible journey that Ben-Hayoun took with the employees of NASA Ames Research Center and the SETI Institute in California during 2012, in setting up the International Space Orchestra, and the production of the space opera they made together.
The film contains interviews with scientists from NASA, as well as the final production of Ground Control: A Space Opera, it features musical contributions from Damon Albarn and Bobby Womack, and Penguin Café (Arthur Jeffes).
