Any questions?

We are hosting a series of meetups as an opportunity for you to find out more about the Near Now Fellowship ahead of submitting an application. Near Now's Creative Producer, Lee Nicholls, will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about the Fellowship programme and the application process.

As part of conceptual and data artist Rachel Ara's Near Now Fellowship, we supported her successful application to the V&A Research Institute's artist in residence programme.

In this talk, from 1:00PM - 1:45PM, Rachel will discuss her practice, her residency research and response to the data that the museum holds. She will also give an insight into her initial ideas and prototypes for a digital installation and virtual reality work to be displayed at the V&A during London Design Festival in September.

*Unfortunately, Rachel has had to postpone this talk. Instead, Laura Carderera, the V&A's Residency Co-ordinator, will be speaking about residency programmes and opportunities for artists at the V&A.

Following this, we'll host a drop-in Fellowship application support meetup in Rachel's residency space in the V&A from 2:00PM - 4:00PM. Rachel will also be on-hand to showcase some of the prototypes and research and development work she's been making with support from the fellowship and V&A residency programmes.

If you can't make it this time, you can drop in to our online hangouts on Friday 25 May and Friday 8 June, from 3:00PM - 6:00PM, or one of our other meetups taking place in venues across the country.
